Monday, June 29, 2009. The National Magazine Company, Hearst‘s principal business in the UK, has produced a 132-page commemorative magazine celebrating the life of Michael Jackson which will go on sale tomorrow (subs: Tuesday June 30).
NatMag, one of the most dynamic publishing companies in the UK, swung into action following the announcement of Jackson's death and produced the stylish glossy photographic tribute issue, "Michael Jackson - Tribute to a Legend" - over the weekend.
Written and produced by Editor Michael Butcher and the team at Reveal magazine, the issue promises to be a valuable collector's item for Michael Jackson fans both in the UK and throughout the world.
Only 200,000 copies of the magazine, which will cost £2.99, have been printed and will remain on sale for a month. The tribute issue, which will be distributed by Comag throughout the UK, has been produced in A4 format with a glossy 170gsm cover.
