What is your career background?
I started off ten years ago working as a Junior Designer on Bella (Bauer), and was later promoted to Senior Designer. I then moved to Ideal Home at IPC, where I was a Senior Designer. I gained a lot of experience in the three years I worked there and was promoted to Art Editor. I then decided to go freelance to gain broader experience and ended up art directing titles such as Healthy Living and Mizz.
What attracted you to NatMag?
I always wanted to work on Zest, so when the opportunity arose, I jumped at the chance!
What does you role involve?
I constantly have to come up with new creative ideas that embody Zest's unique take on living a healthy lifestyle. I also organise photo shoots and regularly redesign the pages to keep Zest looking fresh, vibrant and one step ahead of the competition.
