The National Magazine Company, Hearst Corporation's principal business in the UK, celebrated another successful year last night after winning two major accolades at the PPA Magazines 2007 Awards for editorial and publishing excellence. Harper's Bazaar picked up the top award, Consumer Magazine of the Year, and Men's Health Editor, Morgan Rees, won another of the most anticipated awards of the night, Editor of the Year (consumer magazines). In addition Harper's Bazaar Group Publishing Director, Tess Macleod-Smith was highly commended in the Publisher of the Year (consumer magazines) category.
NatMag received more nominations than any other publisher, these included two nominations in the Editor of the Year category, for Louise Chunn and winner Morgan Rees and two in the Consumer Lifestyle Magazine of the Year category, for Country Living and Men's Health. CosmoGirl! was recognised for their 'Just Say Know Sex Education Campaign' in Editorial Campaign of the Year, runnersworld.co.uk was nominated for Interactive/Online Magazine of the Year and Ellie O'Mahoney on Good Housekeeping was nominated for Writer of the Year.

At the PPA Magazines 2006 Awards, Good Housekeeping won Consumer Magazine of the Year and Country Living was awarded Consumer Lifestyle Magazine of the Year.
