Our graduate recruitment programme will introduce you to a challenging media sales career within NatMag Direct (our classified sales department). We will provide a structured training programme designed to satisfy your individual aspirations and the needs of the business. We will provide you with an opportunity to develop your sales skills and experience to achieve on-going success with NatMag in future commercial and publishing roles.
You will undergo a comprehensive 12 month learning and development programme, which is widely recognised as the best in the industry.
Development Programme
The development programme consists of a number of elements:
Induction: This one week programme will bring you fully up to speed with the consumer magazine industry, the magazines, the advertisers, and the crucial relationship between the two, as well as preparing you in essential sales techniques.
Training: Over the next 12 months our development programme keeps step with you as you progress in your role. As part of this you will be enrolled on our bespoke training schedule assisting your development in customer service, finalising deals and presentation skills.
On the job training: Managers and experienced staff will be on hand at all times to support your development

What we are looking for
We welcome applicants from graduates of all disciplines (minimum 2:2 grade). Whilst your academic record is important, successful applicants will need to be highly motivated, have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as plenty of determination.
